Welcome to Chevin Music’s website.
Here you will find elementary ensemble music – original compositions and arrangements that I have written over the years, and used with the many ensembles that I have directed.
The sets include really easy parts for beginner strings, so that all players can join in and enjoy the experience of playing in an ensemble right from the beginning.
The arrangements are very flexible – and viola parts usually double the violin or cello – allowing any combination of different skill levels from any stringed instrument to participate. Piano parts are provided for support, but are not essential.
A preview of the first two pages of each score is available to view by clicking on the individual product page.
Once purchased, the purchaser may make any number of copies of the parts for their own ensemble use – so catering for different combinations of students each year and providing students with practice parts to take home is not a problem!
